Kylian Mbappé has been ordered to pay Paris Saint-Germain approximately €60,000 in the latest ruling from his long-running financial dispute with his former club.
The Paris Court of Appeal awarded PSG compensation after precautionary seizures obtained by Mbappé’s lawyers froze some of the club’s bank funds for 45 days.
PSG argued that losing access to the money forced it to obtain emergency credit to meet ordinary financing requirements.
The court accepted that the club had suffered a financial loss and awarded approximately €60,000.
It rejected PSG’s separate claims for reputational and moral damage.
The award is tiny compared with the money flowing in the opposite direction.
In December 2025, PSG was ordered to pay Mbappé approximately €61 million in unpaid salary, bonuses and related amounts.
Mbappé left PSG for Real Madrid on a free transfer in 2024, but the financial dispute between player and club continued long after his departure.
PSG has now secured a victory of its own.
